11 months...1 More to Go!

It is so hard to believe that we are in the final month before Jeremiah's 1st birthday! I'm super excited! He is growing leaps and bounds! Its hard to believe it, but my baby is not a little bitty baby anymore. He is headed into the toddler years! Not that I want to rush him, Heavens no! I want to cherish every moment I have!

Soon our home will be filled with lots of pattering feet...they're beginning for sure!

I can...walk from furniture to furniture holding on. I'm a little timid about letting go! :)
I can...sound like I'm talking in sentence form. (This is so cute!)
I can...clap my hands really well! Just ask me!

I love...explore! Especially vents, rooms that I don't belong in, and mama's tea sets!
I love...chocolate! shhhh!!!! Don't tell daddy, but mama gave me some chocolate milk. It was so yummy!
I love...to play outside! A nice lady at church gave me a slide, but truth be told, I'd rather eat grass. One day, I'll sure love though!

I hate...having my nose wiped! Sooo embarrassing!!!
I hate...being given food when I clearly decide I don't want anymore!

Happy 11 months, my Baby Boy!

10 Months...and loving it!

How is it that it seems like yesterday, I was publishing the 9 month post?

Jeremiah is getting so big! Only 2 more months and he'll be 1 YEAR OLD! I can hardly believe it! Amazing!

Jeremiah would like to share a little about his life as a 10 month old...as you know, he's an expert in that field. :D

I can...stand up at the coffee table really well. (Just can't actually stand up by myself, but hey! I'm working on it!)

I can...give you a five! Just ask me!

I can...say "dada" and "baba" but not "mama"!

I can...scoot across the floor really fast! Why crawl? I love playing wounded GI Joe!

I can...feed myself with my own built in utensils! They are also good for pinching people and exploring!

I love...going outside. As a matter of fact, I love any change of environment. Love the excitement!

I love...scooting to a vent and lifting it up even though mama says "no"...I just smile at her and everything is ok....after all, I am cute!

I love...yogurt! When supper is gross, mama knows that I love my yogurt!

I love...daddy playing with me. He is so funny and silly! I love him so much! I want to be just like him when I get big!

I love...mama holding me and walking around so I can see everything! She's so nice! She picks me up when I cry in the middle of the night and feeds me! I know she loves me!

I hate...potatoes except for french fries...they are the supreme exception!

I hate...having my face washed off. Who invented a wash clothe anyway??

I hate...being sat down when I really want to stand and walk around with daddy or mama!

Jeremiah's First VBS

Isn't he just the cutest thing?! Just thought I'd share some of the many decorations from VBS this week...ok, I thought I'd share Jeremiah with you! Happy Saturday!

Oatmeal Banana Teething Biscuits/Cookies...

Jonathan is having to work this weekend (usually our weekend starts on Friday...it is so nice!), and to fill my time, I bake...not good when you are trying to lose those last baby pounds! But this time, I found this recipe for Jeremiah, and he loved them! Plus, they are pretty healthy so that is an added plus! Hope your babies enjoy, too!

Ingredients
1 c. quick oats
1 c. ground oats (grind quick oats in food processor to make a course flour)
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. ginger
1/4 t. nutmeg
1 t. baking powder
1 c. (about 2) overripe bananas, mashed with a fork
1 t. vanilla
1 T. oil (I use coconut oil, but any will do)
2 T. applesauce 

Directions
Mix dry ingredients.  Mix wet ingredients.  Add wet to dry.  Drop by spoonful onto parchment paper or greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Happy 9 Months, My Sweet Little Boy...

It is so hard to believe how fast time has flown! 9 months ago and 1 day ago, I was in the doctor's office undergoing stress test and an ultrasound because I was late in delivering Jeremiah, and now, he is 9 months old! Amazing!

I can...sit up really well! Although I have to have help to do it! :)...still the champion at rolling over!...scoot across the floor on my stomach by pushing and pulling with my arms and feet...still haven't figured out the crawling thing.

I dislike...having my face washed...when mama takes forever to feed me at night...getting out of the bathtub...

I love...going outside to play...eating anything! playing with the vents (I have figured out how to lift them up now...mama has to be extra careful with me now! I'm into everything!)...Daddy and Mama! Tasting all the toys at Mamaw's and church...singing to cds in the car...shopping...getting out of his highchair...

Happy 9 Months, Jeremiah! Mama loves you!

sound like I'm saying "hey!".

sit up, but I haven't learned how to catch myself or remember not to lay back. (I'm learning!)
