FOR TODAY...May 30, 2012...can you believe how fast time has flown...oh my goodness! We are almost halfway through with this year! It is hard to believe that Jeremiah is almost 1 year old, too! 3 more months to go!

Outside my window...Sunny and hot! Already has that summer feel to it!

I am thinking...about the things I need to do...but I'm sitting here doing a blog post :S...I should be cleaning the house...it is so amazing how cluttered it looks after the weekend...then there's Bible school stuff to work on...laundry to do...company is coming in this weekend so we will have a super busy time then...oh, and supper...my menu planning time this week went out the door...so I'm trying to decide what to have for supper tonight...and fix something for Jonathan to eat for breakfasts this week...on a spiritual note, having a sweet spirit...

I am thankful for...hearing Jeremiah say ''da-da-da''...being a mama...just the opportunity to be a wife and mother...I'm so thankful that the Lord has allowed me to be those things. I want to make sure that I do my best!

From the kitchen...sandwich...hopefully some kind of muffins...and supper in a while...my chicken fajitas?

I am wearing...a denim skirt and a coral pinky flowery shirt...

I am creating...clean clothes...and cleaner house!

I am going to...feed Jeremiah, put him down for a nap, finish the clothes, do some baking, clean the livingroom a bit, work on Bible school stuff, fix supper, get ready for church

I am hearing...the washing machine...Jeremiah whine (he is getting sleepy)...hearing him play with his toys

Around the house...not much...Jonathan's brother graduates high school this week...we are planning a vacation for later in the year...other than that same old same old!

Outside my window...cold and rainy, but supposed to snow!!!!! I'm kind of excited about that!!!!

I am thinking...the shopping that I need to get done...

I am thankful for...the Word of God...aren't you so glad that we have in America such access to the Bible? I'm afraid we take it so much for granted...at least I know that I do.May we treasure it beyond any other ''treasure'' we may have!

From the kitchen...chocolate chip cookies (new recipe--so good!)...for supper Italian Bean and pasta soup with rolls...

I am wearing...purple shirt, gold snowflake pin, glasses, and denim skirt

I am creating...this post, clean bathtub, dustless bedroom (even though it seems like no matter how much I dust there is still dust!), grocery list and coupons cut out, and a new post series for December starting on December 12, Lord willing:

I am going to...find a startup game for church, finish cleaning the house, cut out and match  my coupons, play with Jeremiah, get ready for church tonight...

I am hearing...my mama...was talking to her on the phone, an audio Bible, the Book of Proverbs

Plans for this week...grocery shopping, cantata practice, church Christmas dinner, Christmas shopping, chores around the house

Outside my window...cold and partly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow flurries!

I am thinking...it's a wonderful life! Not the movie, but real honest to goodness life! If you sit back and just look around you, you will really begin to realize how good God has been to you! As I sit here holding Jeremiah, looking around the house at the beautiful things the Lord has blessed me with, thinking about my wonderful good looking husband and my family, not to mention I'm saved, God is so very good to me!

I am thankful for...our beautiful tree! My new charm that Jonathan gave me to go on my bracelet...Have you ever thought about the things the Lord gives us that are beautiful? Maybe a special gift from your husband or children? The Lord created woman to love beauty, and I'm glad He did! The Lord has blessed me with so many beautiful things. Its when we begin to be consumed with those things that they become wrong. But the Lord created those things to give us pleasure because He loves us! May we remember that when we put on our clothes with the beautiful colors or that necklace that our husband gave us, the Lord has richly blessed us!

From the kitchen...brownies for the Sunday School Teen Class Christmas Party...I did them in the mini muffin pan with silver liners. I'm going to put green icing on them!

I am wearing...Pink cardigan, brown undershirt, and denim skirt

I am creating...a clean house, a sleeping baby :), this post, food for Friday

I am going to...finish cleaning the small bathroom, dust the house, put Jeremiah down for a nap, clean up the kitchen, start supper, get ready for church

Outside my window...cloudy...supposed to rain off and on today...turning cool...just one of those days when all you want to do is lay around and watch old movies!

I am thinking...shopping!!! and planning a Christmas party for the teens at church! and in almost a week, Jonathan and I have been married a whole year! I'm so looking forward to our date next Friday!!!

I am thankful for...Jonathan and Jeremiah! The Lord has truly blessed me by giving me these two special men in my life!! I love them so much!

From the kitchen...a leftover biscuit with strawberry preserves for breakfast, bologna sandwich for lunch, and mini meatloaf, leftover mashed potatoes, some kind of vegetable (probably string beans), maybe deviled eggs

I am wearing...or rather going to wear denim skirt, of course, and a pink shirt...some kind of jewelry...

I am creating...menu plan, menu for party, this post...

I am going to...get Jeremiah ready for the day...do the same for myself...clean the bathrooms...clean living room...begin my grocery lists...try to figure out what Jeremiah can wear to get his picture done in

I am hearing...silence...Jeremiah is asleep! well...the laptop running! :)
