I have been seriously thinking about taking a blogging vacation...need a break. But before I do, I'd like to just tell you something that has been on my heart.
Ladies, the devil is very real.
For those of us in the Independent Baptist realm, we have seen in the last week or so how the devil will take a great work and destroy it in nothing flat. Not only take one man's ministry and kill it, but a wife, a family, a home, and a church...a testimony of Christianity!
Yes, Ladies, the devil is very very real. It is time we realize how real he is.
Ladies, not only is the devil very real, but we do have a very very very real God. A God who loves us more than anything.
Some times in the midst of conflict, war, and trials, we forget that we have an enemy that is out to destroy anything God has blessed us with--our families, our homes, our testimony to others, our faith.
Some times in the midst of conflict, war, and trials, we forget that we have a God who is greater!
We have a calling from God as wives and mothers. Let us remember that we are not just married. We are not just mamas, but we have a ministry. The ministry of the home. We have been placed in this place for a specific purpose. Don't faint. Don't fail. Ask God for grace and wisdom and strength for a new day!
